Video Analytics

Latitude V5 Video Analytics Solution is designed to automatically detect threats and distribute intelligent alerts to the right personnel in real time, thus allowing security personnel to effectively manage threats to the organization rather than focus on detecting them.

It utilizes the most sophisticated architecture found in video analytics today, offering the most powerful algorithms in the most cost-effective manner with many modules from which to choose.

Total Cost of Ownership: The Latitude V5 Video Analytics Solution supports up to 70 cameras per off-the-shelf server, allowing more cameras to be enabled with video analytics by one CPU than ever before.

Intelligence at the Edge: With DVTel’s Latitude Video Analytics solution, you can now do analytics at the edge which solves a host of bandwidth, CPU and false alarm issues. In addition, there is no limit to the number of video analytics modules per camera and there’s never a need to change the edge hardware. Adding new modules is as easy as flipping a switch on the server.

Supports Analog and IP Cameras: DVTel has its own line of analytics-ready IP cameras with an embedded Video Analytics Agent. Existing analog cameras can be connected to the Latitude Intelligent Video Appliance (IVA) which can connect up to four analog cameras.

Lower Network Strain: DVTel’s Latitude product family employs a distributed architecture which allows the intelligence at the edge. This puts less strain on the network. In addition, the solution is 99.999% reliable when redundancy and failover are designed in as a part of the overall architecture.

Leverage Latitude Network Video Management System (NVMS) Capabilities: For monitoring and recording of video and audio from an open-standards, networked based software platform. Latitude NVMS applications include map integration, Mentor screen recording and monitoring, Virtual Matrix Video distribution and Scenetracker Video Stitching.

Behind the Scenes
DVTel’s distributed video architecture for Latitude Video Analytics:
Within each of DVTel’s edge devices there is a software module that performs the raw processing of images as seen by each camera prior to video compression. This results in low-bandwidth data that is then transfered to the server where it is analyzed for specific detection rules.
