Monroe County Utilizes DVTel to Unify IP Surveillance

DVTel iSOC to manage data from over 1000 cameras

Ridgefield Park, NJ, November 19, 2008 — DVTel, Inc., multiple award-winning market leader in the development and delivery of intelligent security solutions over IP networks, today announced that Monroe County in New York is rolling out an IP video surveillance system across the entire county. With the DVTel intelligent Security Operations Center (iSOC) as the management software, the project is scheduled to grow to over 1000 cameras. The integrator for this major, on-going project is Simplex-Grinnell.
At present, the Monroe County IP surveillance program numbers four self-contained surveillance systems the county, the county Department of Transportation, the airport, and the county prisons—all of which will eventually be managed by the DVTel iSOC. Each of the IP surveillance systems will be monitored and maintained by both the primary system “owner” and by County security management.
