Comprehensive PSIM (Physical Security Information Management) solution for Command and Control Centers

Ridgefield Park, NJ, and Modi’in, Israel February 16, 2010 — DVTel, Inc., multiple award-winning market leader in the development and delivery of intelligent security solutions over IP networks, today announced the signing of a co-marketing agreement with Rontal Applications Ltd., a developer and provider of innovative incident management and operational continuity systems. The joint offering enables data-fusion of multiple on-site safety and security sensors, presenting the events on a geo-typical 3D model, and correlating all video sources automatically and geographically based, to the location of the event. This powerful integrated suite brings together the full capabilities of the DVTel iSOC video management system with Rontal’s SimGuard Incident Management System to create a complete and unique PSIM solution that will enhance the organization’s ability to manage real time operations and events as well as to improve its ability to debrief and investigate post events for future improvement.

The combined DVTel/Rontal solution has already been implemented in city-wide installation of over 10,000 end points including IP cameras, license plate recognition, tampers, facial recognition, and alarms. City installations traditionally have multiple issues which include complex events, enormous data flow from multiple sources and different agencies operating in the same area. DVTel Latitude NVMS Enables Advanced Gunshot Detection Integration

Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008

Unfortunately, Los Angeles has a habit of deadly New Year’s celebrations: firing off guns in the air to mark the occasion.
Recently, LA County Sheriff Baca, backed by Police Chief Bratton, held a news conference to discourage this deadly practice by demonstrating a new, highly-promising technology.

DVTel’s Latitude Network Video management system is integrated with a Sentri Gunshot Detection alarm system that upon alarm automatically directs surveillance cameras to the area of gunshots. Police personnel can then investigate in real time—both using video and by deploying to the scene—in an effort to cut down on this life-threatening celebration and to reduce gun violence at all times of year.
